AGYA CHAKRA AND YOUR PERSONALITY

ANATOMICAL APPROCH TOWARDS ROLE

OF AGYA CHAKRA IN DETERMINING ONES

 PERSONALITY

PERSONALITY

Brief definition would be that personality is made up of the characteristic patterns of thoughts, feelings and behavior that make a person unique. In addition personality arises from within the individual and remains fairly consistent throughout life .
Personality consists of various components like --
1)               Physical traits – height, weight, color, facial expression. For lay man a “GOOD PERSONALITY” means an impressive symmetrical and healthy body
2)               Emotions – fear, anger, love, jealousy, guilt etc..
3)               Intelligence – perceiving, knowing, reasoning and remembering.
4)               Thought process -- perception, memory, imagination and reasoning.
5)                Behavior – reflection of one’s personality partly depends on feeling and partly on the expectation of the society.

Thus human personality is a bundle of traits; basic traits are established by the age of 6yrs.
Personality is basically consistency in particular behavior, but sometimes because of ups and down in life there is inconsistency in that consistency and is majorly because of co-dependency of personality and healthy body.

Personality   <------------->  Health of a person

HEALTH ???

According to WHO – health is state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity
But I’ll quote it as – “ health is merely  absence of disease.” ( disease – DIS + EASE i.e.discomfort in ease and ease can be related to any of physical ease, mental ease or social ease.)
When there is complete physical , mental and social ease then only person is healthy.
Various factors causing dis-ease are –

1)      OTHERS BEHAVIOR
2)      ANY UNFAVOURABLE SITUATION
3)      OUR OWN BEHAVIOR

Relationship between personality and health

When there is constant exposure to any of these 3 factors, leading to imbalance in physical, mental and social state, then there is personality change, Can be in positive or negative form.
AGYA CHAKRA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETE PERSONALITY RELATED TO EACH COMPONENT. But first let’s know about Chakras.

CHAKRAS –

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel”. The human Chakras are wheel like vortices or saucer – shaped depression that exist on the surface of etheric human body.

CHAKRAS are energy centers. They function like receivers and transformers of the various forms of Prana.. Through the nadis the Chakras take the vital energy and transform it into the frequencies needed by the various areas of the physical bodies for sustenance and development.

Out of 70,000 nadis 3 are most imp.. IDA, PINGLA, SUSHUMNA. Ida & pingla interweave crossing from opposite direction to spine, at the point they cross are nerve plexus called CHAKRAS.

THERE ARE 7 MAJOR CHAKRAS AND SEVERAL MINOR CHAKRAS.

3)      Maintenance of alertness and wakefulness
4)      Integration between sensory  system cerebral cortex and cerebellum etc. by profuse intrathalamic connections.
5)      Concerned with emotions, subjective feeling etc

·         HYPOTHALAMUS

The hypothalamus is along either side of the front end of the third ventricle. Deeply buried in the brains, near the centre of the cranial cavity.
Head ganglion a nervous system and functionally concerned with –

1)      Endocrine control
2)      Neurosecreation

2)      It controls sex behavior necessary for survival of species.
3)      It controls emotional behavior expressed in form of joy and sorrow, fear, fight and friendship and liking and disliking associated with a variety of somatic and autonomic bodily alternations, this requires integration of olfactory, somatic and visceral impulses reaching the brain.
Its importance in controlling the behavior patterns in now increasingly realized .
Constituent Parts of Limbic System—
Olfactory nerves , bulb, tract, anterior perforated substances, lat. Olfactory gyrus, Hippocampal gyrus, Cingulated gyrus, Parahippocampal gyrus amygdaloid nuclei, Fornix, Strait terminals, Strains habenuleris & anterior commissure.

·         PINEAL GLAND

It is endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects  the modulation of wake/ sleep patterns and seasonal functions. Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres , tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies.

According to Yoga science:

Pineal gland:

Have a role in psychic faculty of man. Third eye acts as the channel through which the subtle vibrations are sent out into the cosmos or most respective Chakras.
People have always held this area in high esteem.

·         Anatomy according to yoga science

AGYA Chakra has 2 petals & reason of appearance is that this Chakra is the meeting point of 3 principle Nadis i.e. IDA, PINGLA & SUSHUMNA.

IDA – CHANDRA NADI , left side , related to sympathetic nervous system, and associated with mental aspects of body.

PINGLA – SURYA NADI , right side, related to parasympathetic nervous system and associated with physical aspects of body.

In human body BALANCE is because of balance in IDA & PINGLA

Thus leading to – END OF DUALITY and  BALANCING HIGHER & LOWER SELVES. Which  are key issues of AGYA Chakra.

Brain parts – pre frontal cortex, hypothalamus, thalamus, Limbic system – directly or indirectly effects whole body functions, also all Chakras , also all personalities trait of Chakras.

AGYA CHAKRA IS MASTER CHAKRA & COMMANDS ACTIVITIES OF OTHER CHAKRAS.THEREFORE ALL THE PERSONALITY TRAITS OF OTHER CHAKRAS ARE ALSO INDIRECTLY GOVERNED BY AGYA CHAKRA.

We can say that all personality traits I.e. physical trait, emotional, intelligence, thinking and behavior. All are govern by AGYA Chakra.

If one is with fully activated AGYA Chakra will have perfect personality with all rounder personality components.
·
How to attain complete personality (AWAKENING OF AGYA CHAKRA)

OUR ancient yogis were aware of all scientific facts related to AGYA Chakra. But with span of time true knowledge got disappear, as people stat following acts blindly without knowing scientific reasons.
Some methods to activated AGYA Chakras are –

1.      MEDITATION
2.      VIPREETKARNI
3.      KAYA STAIRUM
4.      NITAMB ASAN
5.      MANTRA JAP
6.      JAL NETI
7.      TRATAK
8.       PRANAYAM & many.

Scientific principle for this is to concentrate PRANA / ENERGY AT AGYA CHAKRA.  Either by direct enforcement or through nadi.  Through these methods Prana of IDA & PINGLA are forced into SHUSHUMNA & with regular practice Prana move upwards simultaneously activating other Chakras then finally AGYA Chakra .

·        Hidden facts related to AGYA Chakra

MANIFESTATION, INTUATION, VISION, TELEPATHY
All are possible due to vibrations send through AGYA Chakra at different state of relax mind.

·        Other modalities and AGYA Chakra

·        Common sense towards AGYA Chakra & personality

Any modality we opt for AGYA Chakra awakening is just for manifesting our goal (can be spiritual goal, for success in life etc...)

So be careful in what you think as AGYA Chakra will make it happen & will reflect it
