FIND OUT WHATS THERE IN PERSONS MIND WHEN THEY APPROACHES YOU

HAND SHAKE revels Dominance, Submission & equality



1)      If a person tries to turn his hand so that his palm faces down in the hand shake  --  is a dominant person wants to takes control of the encounter

2)      If a person offer his hand with his palm facing upwards ( opposite to first )  - - is a submissive person wants you to take charge of the situation

3)      If a person offers his hand with palm remaining in vertical position –- is giving you respect with a thought of equality.

4)      If a person handshakes using both the palms –- is trying to be trustworthy & honest

WORST HANDSHAKES

1) Cold . Clammy & limp  hand shake  --  is shy , introvert type of person

 2)  firm grip  with one sharp downwards pump & 2-3vigrous return stokes  -- extrovert & desire to dominant & early control of relationship
              
3)  If initiator grab finger tip –-  have  enthusiastic attitude towards you but lacks self confidence

4)      Bone crusher handshake –- overly aggressive personality , trying to demoralize his opponent

5)      Arm puller ( involves forceful griping of receives palm, then attempting to drag in owns territory ---  person is insecure or wants to control you by pulling you off balance

SMILES -- natural smile produces characteristic wrinkles around the eyes while insincere people smile only with their mouth

1)      Tight lipped smile (lips are stretched tight across the face to form a straight line & teeth concealed – has a secret or a withheld opinion or attitude that they will not be sharing with you.

2)      TWISTED SMILE WITH A RAISED EYE BROWS --- being sarcastic

3)      Smile where lower jaw is simply dropped to give an impression  of laughing or playful  --  fake happy reaction .

4)      Head turned down & away while looking up with tight lipped smile – juvenile , playful & secretive . is a COME ON  signal

ARM POSITIONS – open arms signals openness while crossed arms shows defensive attitude

1)      CROSSED ARM ON CHEST – nervous, negative or defensive attitude towards speaker.

2)      Fist clenched , arm crossed – hostile attitude

3)      Persons hand tightly griping their upper arms – negative restrained attitude , feeling insecure

4)      Arms crossed plus both thumbs up – defensive, but still thinks he is cool .

5)      Partial arm barriers (  holding one hand with another in front ) --  self conscious , nervous

STANDING POSITION

1)      AT ATTENTION – neutral attitude signaling NO COMMENT.

2)      LEGS APART (both feet firmly on ground ) – signaling dominance , confidence & no intention of leaving .

3)      Foot forward (body weight shifted to a hip, which leaves front foot pointing forward0 – forward foot positions pointing where mind wants to go.

4)      Legs crossed -- closed , submissive or defensive attitude.

HEAD POSITION

1)      HEAD lifted high with chin forward – superiority ,  fearlessness or arrogance.

2)      Tilting head to a side --  submission

3)      Head down – negative , judgmental or aggressive attitude. Disapproval or dejection .

4)      Raising the shoulder & pulling the head down between them – submissive apology
